Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Vicky Silva, PHR® — a first-gen, Latina, certified HR professional with deep roots in Los Angeles, California and a bold vision for reshaping what HR can look like for underrepresented industries and professionals. I founded Elevated HR to offer culturally aware, legally sharp, and genuinely helpful support for small businesses, especially those in cannabis and first-gen professionals.

After 7+ years working across compliance, employee relations, and talent operations — often as the only HR voice in the room — I know what it means to wear every hat while staying compliant and people-centered. I also know what it’s like to job hunt without guidance, navigate office politics without allies, and negotiate worth in spaces not built for us.
