Eight years in HR. A lifetime of being the first.
I am a first-generation Latina. The daughter of immigrants. The first in my family to graduate from college, the first to walk into a corporate office, and the first to have absolutely no idea what I was doing — and to figure it out anyway.
After college I went straight into HR and stayed there. Eight years across compliance, employee relations, hiring, terminations, audits, handbooks, OSHA, ICE prep, and the day-to-day calls that founders and employees should not be making alone. PHR-certified. MBA in progress. Bilingual EN/ES.
Nobody built it for me.
I built Elevated HR because the people I come from — first-gen founders, first-gen professionals, the small business owners and the ones figuring out their first real career — do not get senior HR support. They get generic templates, expensive law firms, or nothing.
I run two practices under one roof: senior HR for founders building a company, and senior HR for professionals building a career. Same philosophy on both sides. Real, specific, bilingual when it needs to be.
